Palladium Boots

Palladium has been founded since 1920 to produce tires for the fledgling aviation industry. Tires were made by layering canvas bands below vulcanized rubber. Palladium’s know-how was so leading-edge that soon virtually all Europe’s aircraft were using Palladium tires.

Soon after World War II, with aircraft manufacturing screeching to a stop, the demand for tires decreased considerably. Palladium made a decision to open a plant in Pont De Cheruy, France, to start producing footwear which were as hard wearing as their tires. In 1947 the legendary Pampa boot was born, and the performance, comfort and durability were so exceptional that the French Foreign Legion implemented it for their use. The Foreign Legion put the boot to the test in the extreme desert conditions of North Africa, and throughout the rugged terrain of the Atlas Mountains.

Today, the classic design, classic lines and time tested utility are as relevant as they have ever been. Combining over 60 years of genuineness with modern manufacturing, premium materials and innovative styling, Palladium boots are ready to help you explore your street, your city, or the world.

The most popular boot that Palladium have released is the Baggy which features a fold down collar so you have the option of having a high top or a midtop boot.

Another popular boot is the first original boots that Palladium released. This is the Pampa boot which looks very similar to the Baggy but does not include the fold over collar.

In 2011 Palladium introduced a new model as part of their Spring/Summer collection. This is called the LITE. The LITE incorporates the same design as other Palladium models such as the Baggy and the Pampa but has a more lightweight and breathable upper.

The DriLex material makes this boot perfect for those hot summer days as it helps keep the sweat from your toes to a minimum. This is under 10 ounces in weight and the model has a ripstop material with DriLex lining for increased breathability and moisture control. Through the 60 years Palladium has been around, this has been the lightest boot to date.
